• Account data — your name, email address, and hashed password.
• Loved-one profiles you create — name, relationship, optional phone, email, address, date of birth, free-text notes, emergency contact, and an optional profile photo. Only enter health details you consider appropriate; this is a check-in tool, not a medical record.
• Reminders & activity — reminder content, schedules, delivery status, and responses (done/snooze/missed).
• Technical data — IP address and request metadata used for security and rate limiting (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Legal basis for providing the service is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract).

Each reminder has a unique, unguessable link your loved one opens without an account. That page shows only that single reminder and the caregiver's display name (and phone, if you added one for the “Call me” button). Anyone with the exact link can view it, so share it only with the intended recipient.

• Hosting & database — operating the service and storing your data.
• Email provider — to deliver reminder, account, and notification emails.
• Object storage — to store profile photos you upload.

Where a provider processes data outside the EEA, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards under the GDPR.

We use a self-hosted analytics tool (Rybbit) on our own infrastructure at analytics.wirecore.net to understand how the service is used and where it can be improved. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating and improving LovedCircle (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

• No cookies and no cross-site tracking. No data is shared with third parties.
• What we record — page views, button clicks, and product events such as “reminder created” or “plan upgraded”. URLs that contain identifiers or tokens (e.g. the public reminder link) are masked before they reach analytics.
• Identification — once you sign in, your account identifier is linked to your analytics events so we can understand how individual flows perform. Email and password are never sent to analytics.
• Opt-out — set localStorage.setItem("rybbit-disabled", "true") in your browser, or contact us, to be excluded.

We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from Settings, which removes your account, loved ones, reminders, and uploaded photos. Data required for statutory obligations is kept for the legally required period.

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port, and object to processing of your personal data. Contact privacy@wirecore.net. You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority; for WireCore GmbH this is the Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz und für das Recht auf Akteneinsicht Brandenburg.
